My first time buying a home...
So before I could write the offer on the house, I had to apply for a loan. One of the brokers I was working with recommended Andrew O' Fee AKA the Yankee Closer. Let me tell you, this guy gets stuff done. He reminds me of Winston Wolf from the movie Pulp Fiction. He talks fast, he thinks fast (I don't know for sure, but I bet he drives fast too haha). He gets things done and kept in contact with me through much of the process to make sure I was holding up my end of things.
Andy worked with me after normal business hours in order to get the application done so I would have a chance to offer on the house because there was a time crunch since I needed to get out of my apartment before the lease was up. Once my offer was accepted, Andy and his team we're able to close on the house in 3 weeks from the day when I first went over and viewed the house. I'm not sure if that will always be possible, but that is efficiency.
Lastly, I want to say my realtor Karen Newton was amazing. Treated me like family and explained all the intricate details. Can't say enough about her. We also worked with Marla Pennington who is a broker and happened to live in the same neighborhood where I was moving and helped immensely with just everything. All are good people... and if you're looking for properties, I recommend these two before anyone else. And then use Andy when setting up the loan and closing.
